Silver Lining

The rain drops were tickling down her nose and cheeks. She looked up at the sky and felt the rain drops falling straight on her face as if the sky was shattered into thousand pieces, falling one by one. The thunderous roar by the clouds were not out of vengeance, but of the unfathomable pain they were going through. They were in despair just like mankind and were,  seeking redemptions for the sins they have committed. The truth of the situation, was hidden in the lies that were meant to be white, but as years passed and situations changed they turned darker than dark. A place where hallucinations are mistaken for reality and every lie is a truth itself. Though her tears were running down her cheeks, but were shielded by, the mighty ones of those from the clouds. She was in despair her body was numb and her heart was cold, with a storm raging inside the void of her soul, that was tearing her apart. The monotonous sing song, they used to sing together while gazing the stars at night,

Trusted Betrayal

If you swallow the pill of betrayal you must know,  it is more poisonous than anything. It never reaches your stomach, but as soon as you swallow it, it drops right into your soul. The free fall is precise and well measured. It leaves a minor scar but, the scar is small enough to change your life catastrophically. Trust and faith evaporates in a blink of an eye, all that remains is a soul burnt from vengeance and despair, waiting to crumble and turn to ashes. When the devil's wicked laughter mocks your whole life, you ponder again and again over the question.. "Was this life really worth living?" 

Faithless Faith

She was standing on the edge, the edge of devastation the edge of recreation. She has no purpose of living, in this world as this world has given her, sorrows, pain, depression and many such things people consider as downs of life. Every morning, when she woke up, she used to think about the sorrows and pain she was going through and that was yet to come. The anxiety was too much for her to handle but, constant worries crept up in her heart and her heart was in a turmoil. It was almost torn into two halves. The small cheerful one, which considered everything still as beautiful. And the dominant one which was protecting her from loosing her morale. She was lost between her thoughts unable to understand what was the right thing to do. The rebukes and critisizations she faced made her upset. 'People are too cynical  judgemental by nature.' She thought. She was fighting hard to keep her self respect alive, but with passing day it was blowing away like house of cards, one at a t
