About Me

Before, giving my introduction and the reason behind creating this blog, I will like to thanks all the writers who have contributed their writings previously and hope I will get more of these writings in future.

Interested people may send their writings at: apattanayak_12@yahoo.in

Brief Introduction

First of all a bookworm, who like to explore the world through the eyes of fictitious characters or even some real ones, and gather experience about life and the way it is beyond the four corners.

Writing is none less than a form art, a way of expressing our emotions as well as our perceptions and presenting it in front of this world. Blending ideas together we can always paint our imaginations with letters.

We can cross dimensions, defy time and go against the forces of nature, but there is no, power as strong as our imaginations which will stop us from being creative. We can give life to the material things and create a world of mystical nooks and corners which we can explore with our writings and whisper into the reader's ears.

Writing often provides solace and helps us to uplift ourselves from the difficulties of life.

Therefore, writing something, irrespective of how bad or good the piece is, is highly encouraged and thus I like writing so much.

Excerpt #12

“I wanted to tell the book thief many things, about beauty and brutality. But what could I tell her about those things that she didn't already know? I wanted to explain that I am constantly overestimating and underestimating the human race-that rarely do I ever simply estimate it. I wanted to ask her how the same thing could be so ugly and so glorious, and its words and stories so damning and brilliant.” ―  Markus Zusak,  The Book Thief

Excerpt #13

“Usually we walk around constantly believing ourselves. "I'm okay" we say. "I'm alright". But sometimes the truth arrives on you and you can't get it off. That's when you realize that sometimes it isn't even an answer--it's a question. Even now, I wonder how much of my life is convinced.” ―   Markus Zusak,  The Book Thief

Excerpt #8

"I have never before had such a strong feeling that I was devoid of secret dimensions, confined within the limits of my body, from which airy thoughts float up like bubbles. I build memories with my present self. I am cast out, forsaken in the present: I vainly try to rejoin the past: I cannot escape." --Jean Paul Sartre, Nausea
